When I was little, I used to attempt to do the Wuthering Heights dance-all willowy arms, bent knees and leaps-and remember loving the surprised, frightened, amused reaction of people watching.

Yes, madness can be strangely alluring, because it suggests to the onlooker, a daring to go to the edge, moving closer to something that cannot be explained. Being fuelled by something that people cannot sense the shape or direction of. Losing control.That could be kind of arousing.
